Dip and Bake Procedure:

  • Stator is Steam and High Pressure cleaned and then Hot water rinsed to remove all contaminates.
  • Stator is baked to ensure all moisture is removed.
  • Retest Unit again, Surge, High Pot and Meg Ohm, to ensure integrity and all contaminates were removed.
  • Unit is dipped and Baked using Class H polyester insulating varnish to renew the insulation integrity of windings.
  • Rotor is cleaned and balanced if required or requested.
  • Unit is then assembled installing new Bearings and applicable seals.
  • Unit is test ran at line voltage and Amp draws are recorded.
  • Unit is then Painted.
